So, you might have heard that Tekashi 6ix9ine, recently took LA Fitness to court. Yeah, he's suing them for $1 million because of this wild incident where he got jumped in one of their saunas back in 2023.
Basically, he was at this LA Fitness in South Florida when three guys, who are said to be part of the Latin Kings gang, decided to give him a beatdown. He ended up in the hospital, and now he's pointing fingers at the gym for not having enough security or, you know, doing anything to stop the attack while it was happening.
6ix9ine's lawsuit claims that the gym should have had better security measures in place, especially with all the crime going on around there. He's talking about pain, medical bills, lost income, all that stuff, which adds up to why he wants that big payout.
It's kind of messed up when you think about it - going for a workout and ending up in a fight. Three guys were arrested after the whole thing, but it looks like only two ended up on probation after some legal back-and-forth.
So, this is all unfolding in court now, and it'll be interesting to see what happens. But for now, if you're hitting the gym, you might want to keep an eye out, just in case.
