Discovery of Unreleased Michael Jackson Music

Hey MJ Fans, You Won't Believe What Was Just Uncovered!

So, you know how we've all been wondering if there's any more Michael Jackson magic left out there in the world? Well, brace yourselves because a treasure trove of MJ's unreleased music just got uncovered in the most unexpected of places – an abandoned storage unit in the San Fernando Valley!

Here's the scoop: A guy named Gregg Musgrove, who used to be a cop but now spends his time treasure hunting, stumbled upon this goldmine. He bought a storage unit that once belonged to Bryan Loren, a music producer who worked with MJ back in the day on the "Dangerous" album. And guess what was inside? Twelve unreleased tracks from around 1989 to 1991!

Imagine getting goosebumps listening to MJ's voice, unreleased, unpolished, just bouncing off the walls of your home office. That's what Musgrove felt when he first played these tapes. Among the finds are tracks like "Don't Believe It," "Son of Thriller," and "Truth on Youth" where MJ even collaborates with LL Cool J – a rap duet, who would've thought?

But here's where it gets all tangled up with legal stuff. Musgrove reached out to the Jackson Estate, but they're like, "Yeah, we don't own these tapes, but we own the copyright to what's on them." So, while the estate confirmed they don't claim ownership of the physical tapes, they made it clear that nobody else gets to release this music without their say-so.

It's kind of a bummer because this means we might not get to hear these tracks anytime soon, if at all. The tapes are apparently worth a pretty penny, and Musgrove's looking to auction them off. But with the copyright situation, it's more like a collector's item than a new album release.

Still, how cool is it to think there's still more MJ out there? It's like finding a lost chapter of your favorite book. And even though we might not get to stream these tracks, just knowing they exist adds a whole new layer to MJ's legacy.

So, keep your fingers crossed that one day, somehow, these tracks see the light of day. In the meantime, let's just marvel at the fact that even years after his passing, Michael Jackson still knows how to surprise us.

Stay tuned, MJ fans! This isn't the end of the story.
