Eve reflects on therapy before working with Nicki Minaj in Barbershop
"I've seen first and how women can project their own doubts onto others. It happened early in my career and kept occurring as I became more famous. I didn't want to treat someone else that way, so I had to get ready both physically and mentally ... On set, Nicki and I actually got along well. We filmed our scenes together smoothly, with no issues. It was different from what I'd expected, but I'm glad I prepared myself for it. The experience wasn't at all like I'd imagined it might be, which just goes to show the importance of not making assumptions about others."
