I'm Lynette, and I wanted to start sharing my experiences starting Credit Avengers. Let me tell you, it was incredibly tough. At first, I had all kinds of support. My partner was on board, even helping me find a mentor (or so I thought) and investing both time and money. I had friends who believed in my process and in me! With my background in leadership, I figured I could use those skills to achieve my own dreams.
Starting a business is hard, especially when you don't have money or credit—just a great idea. I began by learning how to improve my family and friends' credit. As I dove deeper into the world of business credit, I noticed a common trend: many people were either getting scammed or wasting their time and money. Why? Because we didn't understand the full process and trusted people who were only interested in making money.
This meant starting from scratch more than once. I lost time, investments, and friends. Not because I wasn't working hard, but because I couldn't sustain the business without funds. It was extremely difficult, depressing, and embarrassing. My mentor never taught me what he promised and instead used my skills and knowledge to grow his own business.
This journey is not for the weak! But I'm here to share what I've learned. I'll be posting here on Shalena Speaks once a week, sharing updates and helpful tips.
Stay tuned and keep pushing forward!
