ITS TIME!! When was the last time you were really excited about your life?
I'm not talking about merely feeling relieved because you survived, or politely spouting religious niceties because things might . . . maybe . . . hopefully . . . will get better.
I'm talking about a Holy-Ghost-inspire, jump-up-and-down, shout-it-from-the- highways-and-byways excitement, knowing that God is up to something great! God isn't finished with you! Your best days have yet to be lived! God has a purpose for your life! Now, that's something to get excited about! God didn't rescue you from your past and put you on the road to destiny only to see you run out of gas a few miles short of His best.
So fill up your tank . . . rev up your engine. Your latter days shall be greater than your former days! I've been following the Lord and studying His Word , and I know this to be true: God doesn't decrease in His goodness—He always increases. When you walk with the Lord, your life is a crescendo! The very nature of His character makes things better and better, brighter and brighter until the full light of day. Whether you've served the Lord a week, a month, a year, or a lifetime, He has a purpose for you in the days to come that is greater than anything you've known. That's why in the book of Isaiah, God says . . .
Behold, I will do a new thing . . . I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert (43:19, emphasis added). So if you need a "new thing" in your life today, get ready. Regardless of what you've been through in the past, or even what you may be going through in the present, God has a great plan for your future. God is preparing you for more. He is filling up your tank. He wants to see you live out your purpose. Get ready . . . get hopeful . . . get excited.
